United's Hargreaves says injections will end battle of wounded knee

Owen Hargreaves believes he has found the solution to a long-standing knee problem.

The midfielder, 27, had a stop-start debut season at Old Trafford due to tendinitis and was forced to withdraw from United's tour of South Africa when it flared up again.

But he claims a series of injections has cleared up the problem, saying: 'I think we've found the solution that will make sure I'm fit for the whole of the season.'
