Monaco have completed the signing of Tottenham winger Georges-Kévin N'Koudou on loan until the end of the season.

The 23-year-old returns to France after being deemed surplus to requirements by Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.

His loan move does not appear to have the option of a permanent deal.

The Frenchman briefly returned to the first-team picture in January, providing a last-minute assist for Harry Winks’ in a 2-1 win over Fulham.

But with Son Heung-min back from international duty and Lucas Moura fully fit again, he has been allowed to leave the club to return to France.

“I am very happy to return to Ligue 1 and to get involved with AS Monaco,” N'Koudou said. “I look forward to meeting my teammates and giving everything on the field with this red and white jersey.

N'Koudou becomes the second player to leave Spurs during the January transfer window following Mousa Dembele’s move to the Chinese Super League.

Vincent Janssen could also leave the club before Thursday night’s deadline.
