Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from White Hart Lane where a stunning second-half turnaround from Newcastle secured a shock 2-1 win against Tottenham at White Hart Lane.

Spurs started the match the stronger and after some early pressure they went ahead in the 18th minute when Emmanuel Adebayor headed home Ryan Mason’s cross.

The hosts were unable to get the second though and straight from kick-off at the start of the second half, Jack Colback threaded a pass through for half-time substitute Ameobi to take a touch and fire past Hugo Lloris within six seconds of coming on.

Things got even worse for Spurs 12 minutes later when Remy Cabella cut inside and delivered a cross for Perez, who nodded home to put the Magpies in front.

The response from Mauricio Pochettino's team was pretty limp and Newcastle hung on for the three points with precious few scares.
