Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard has joined Norwich City on a four-year contract, the Championship club has confirmed.
The 23-year-old progressed through Tottenham's youth academy and made one Premier League appearance last season before being loaned out to West Brom.
But Pritchard struggled to secure regular game time at the Hawthorns and found himself deemed surplus to requirements by Mauricio Pochettino ahead of the forthcoming campaign.
Pritchard has been capped at England Under-21 level and, having previously played in the second tier with Brentford, is relishing a chance to prove his worth at Carrow Road.
He told Norwich's official website: "I feel I need to go out and prove myself again in football. I'm 23 now so it's about time I had my own path really.
"I've had a full pre-season and with our first game at the weekend I'm looking forward to hopefully bedding myself in quickly."
Pritchard was one of three players Pochettino publicly declared were no longer in his plans at White Hart Lane earlier this summer.
Nabil Bentaleb is the only member of the trio who remains at the club following Pritchard's departure and Federico Fazio's loan move to Roma.
The Algeria international made just five Premier League appearances last season and has fallen down the pecking order due to the emergence of both Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
