3 October 2019

Mason Greenwood leads Manchester United's attack in tonight's Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar, with academy full-back Brandon Williams also handed a start.

Greenwood plays at number nine for the 5:55pm BST kick-off in The Hague, with Daniel James, Angel Gomes and Juan Mata in support.

Fred and Nemanja Matic play in midfield in front of a defence consisting of Diogo Dalot, Victor Lindelof, Marcos Rojo and academy graduate Williams, who makes his first start for the club.

David de Gea also starts in goal, with Sergio Romero - usually United's cup goalkeeper - on a strong bench should Ole Gunnar Solskjaer need it, with Harry Maguire, Axel Tuanzebe, Scott McTominay, Jesse Lingard, Tahith Chong and Marcus Rashford completing the 18-man matchday squad.
