He is supported and followed by thousands of Chelsea and Belgium fans on social media, but it appears that Michy Batshuayi's own inspiration appears to be Alicia Keys and Spongebob SquarePants - in equal measure.
The Chelsea striker, who signed for the club from Marseille in the summer, has made no secret of his love for the popular cartoon show, alongside another in Dragon Ball Z, with various photos over the years of him donning Spongebob merchandise.
But the 23-year-old Belgian this week demonstrated that his love for the cartoon really is true after he dressed head to toe in Spongebob clothes to mirror an outfit that singer Alicia Keys was pictured wearing recently.
"This new @aliciakeys album .. inspired me so that I had to take my spongebob outfit off the closet. Looking pretty good hahaha," Batshuayi wrote on Twitter on Sunday.
Batshuayi has proved to be an entertaining Chelsea player on social media, with the Belgian regularly interacting with fans and fellow players.
But he has found competing with Chelsea's first-choice striker Diego Costa hard to do this season, with the latter's good form ensuring he remains top of the Premier League's goalscoring charts with nine strikes and three assists so far this term.
