Arturo Vidal has insisted he is "very happy" at Bayern Munich after being linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks.

The Blues confirmed Antonio Conte will take charge at Stamford Bridge this summer and the Italian manager is a big fan of Vidal.

The pair worked alongside each other at Juventus and won three consecutive Serie A titles before Conte joined the Italian national side in 2014.

Vidal completed a £31m switch to the Allianz Arena last summer and has been strongly linked to a potential reunion with Conte.

But the midfielder, who turns 29 in May, has said he is content with life at the Bundesliga champions.

"I am very happy here," Vidal told BioBio. "I have to think about my family and I still have time on my contract."

Vidal signed a four-year deal with Bayern last summer and has been a regular feature of Pep Guardiola's side this term.

The Chile international has made 26 Bundesliga appearances, more than any midfielder at the club, and has also played in all but one of Bayern's Champions League fixtures.
