Fulham were thumped by a resurgent Bournemouth side on Boxing Day as goals from Justin Kluivert, Dominic Solanke and Luis Sinisterra secured a 3-0 home win on the south coast.

Since being beaten 6-1 by Manchester City to leave manager Andoni Iraola facing questions over his future, Bournemouth have taken 16 points from a possible 18 and now sit in the top half of the Premier League table after a comfortable over Fulham.

Bournemouth's opener came just before half-time when Alex Scott took the ball on the halfway line and sprinted through the Fulham defence to set up Kluivert to shoot past keeper Bernd Leno.

Joao Palhinha's foul on Antonie Semenyo earned Bournemouth a spot-kick which Solanke converted shortly after the hour mark, and substitute Sinisterra scored in added time to take Bournemouth to three points above 11th-placed Chelsea.

Bournemouth, winless in their first nine league games of the season, are now the most in-form team in the top flight and next face Tottenham in London as Fulham host Arsenal.
