Dragons secure scrum-half Dureau

Incoming Catalans coach Trent Robinson has made his first signing for next year by agreeing a deal with Newcastle scrum-half Scott Dureau.

The 23-year-old will arrive in Perpignan at the end of the season and will replace veteran playmaker Brent Sherwin, who only joined the club from Castleford in May.

"I am happy to finalise the signing of Scott," Robinson said. "He is a scrum-half with potential and I am sure he will make his mark in Super League. He is a leader and has an excellent kicking game. It is very important for the future of the club to get such a player."
