Josh Taylor will defend his IBF and WBA super-lightweight titles against Apinun Khongsong on September 26.

The Scot was originally scheduled to defend his titles against Khonsgong in May after an incredible 2019 that saw him win both belts and the World Boxing Super Series.

That bout, which was due to take place in Edinburgh, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic but is now set to take place behind closed doors at the BT Sports studios in Stratford next month.

Taylor vs Khongsong will be just the second world title fight to take place on UK soil since boxing's return - with Terri Harper and Natasha Jonas battling to a thrilling draw in a women's super-featherweight bout in August.

Taylor has held the IBF title since his victory over Ivan Baranchyk in May 2019. He added the WBA belt to his collection in October after winning a Fight of the Year candidate against Regis Prograis in London.
