Paul Hollywood, 57, weds fiancée Melissa Spalding, 39, in Cyprus

Paul Hollywood has tied the knot with his fiancée Melissa Spalding in Cyprus, according to a new report.

The Great British Bake Off star, 57, and the pub landlady, 39, allegedly said ‘I do’ on Wednesday at the Ayia Athanasia chapel on the grounds of the five-star Anassa Hotel in Paphos.

According to MailOnline, the festivities kicked off in the afternoon and went on late into the night, with fellow GBBO judge Prue Leith one of the 75 guests in attendance.

A source close to the couple told the outlet: “It was a very tasteful and stylish wedding and the hotel management really pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable day.

“There was a very lively party with loud music and lots of drinking that went on until late into the night.

“Paul is very close to the hotel owners and they made sure that everybody had a great time. He loves Cyprus and it was a wonderful setting for what was a beautiful occasion.”

The couple have been together for three years after meeting at The Chequers Inn in Smarden, Kent where she was the landlady and are believed to have “quietly” got engaged in 2022.

Earlier this week, the couple were spotted on a beach near the resort, which is owned by Hollywood’s close friends, with their families in preparation for the big day.

Cyprus holds a dear place in Hollywood’s heart, having lived and worked as head baker at the five-star Anabelle Hotel in Paphos for six years in the late 1990s.

It was while working at the Anabelle that Paul met his ex-wife Alexandra Hollywood, to whom he was married for 19 years. The former couple, who welcomed a son named Joshua, announced their split in 2017.
