Frank Ocean has released brand new visual album Endless.

The R&B singer ended months of speculation by releasing the 18-track visual album early on Friday morning, ahead of the release of his eagerly-awaited follow-up to channel ORANGE.

Having kept fans on tenterhooks for weeks, a link to Apple Music was posted on his website at midnight, leading fans to the album.

Endless, which is currently available exclusively on Apple, is accompanied by a 45-minute black and white video of Ocean working on a construction project.

The video appears to be similar to the live stream that was posted on the artist’s website last week, leading fans to believe that a release was imminent.

Although no new music materialised after the stream, Apple representatives said this was because they were ‘waiting on the artist.’

The new album features collaborations with musicians including Radiohead’s Johnny Greenwood, James Blake, Sampha and the London Contemporary Orchestra.

According to Rolling Stone, Endless is a different project to Ocean’s previously announced second album Boys Don’t Cry, which is expected to be released over the weekend.

A representative for Apple Music said that fans should “keep an eye out this weekend for more from Frank.”

The music magazine claims that the artist has now dropped the original title Boys Don’t Cry in favour of an alternative.
