BAFTAs 2016: Leonardo DiCaprio and Maggie Smith share Valentine’s Day smooch on kiss cam

Leonardo DiCaprio was feeling the Valentine’s Day love as he planted a kiss on Dame Maggie Smith at the BAFTAs.

DiCaprio, 41, was caught kissing the Downton Abbey actress on a kiss-cam at the annual event on Sunday night.

Host Stephen Fry set up the sneaky camera after telling the audience: “Of the wonderful things America has given the world is the giant foam finger, leaf blowers, creationism, syrup on bacon – but also the kiss cam."

Not wanting to miss his chance, DiCaprio grabbed an unsuspecting Smith and planted a kiss on her cheek as the camera zoomed in on the pair.

Cuba Gooding Jr planted a tender kiss on Stanley Tucci's head while Julianne Moore made a move on Bryan Cranston. Not wanting to pass up on the opportunity, Eddie Izzard went in for a full on smooch with Rebel Wilson.

But A-list couple Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender weren’t so keen on the public displays of affection and refused to pucker up for the camera. The couple – who have been dating for a year – are notoriously private about their relationship.

DiCaprio and Smith are both nominated for the coveted Best Actor and Actress gongs at this year's awards bash.
