Anaïs Gallagher: Why I’m proud to be a Primrose Hill girl
Anaïs Gallagher says she has learned to embrace her identity as part of the “second generation” of the Primrose Hill set.
The model’s parents are Meg Mathews and Noel Gallagher, who along with Kate Moss, Jude Law and Sadie Frost became known for their partying in the Nineties.
Their children grew up in the north London neighbourhood and are still friends. Asked in an interview with Tatler about her links to the set, Gallagher, 18, replied: “I’ve learned now, you’ve got to embrace it.
“We all still live there, we’ve grown up together and are relatively close.”
She knows Law’s son, 21-year-old Rafferty, and said there is a “deep connection with these friendships because they’ve been there our whole lives”.
Gallagher, pictured above in a shoot for Tatler, has more than 150,000 followers on Instagram and praised the impact of social media.
She said: “We’re the generation that rules the internet and luckily we are living in a time where our posts, tweets and Snapchats can impact situations all over the world.”
