Alexandra Burke revealed that she has welcomed her second child with her footballer boyfriend Darren Randolph.

The singer, 35, announced the joyous news on Instagram on Tuesday with sweet snaps of their little ones’ hand in theirs and another of their baby’s feet from a newborn photoshoot.

The X Factor winner captioned the post: “Feeling so blessed. We are now a family of four. Welcome to the world our little peanut.”

After sharing the news, Burke was inundated with well wishes from friends and followers in the comments section.

Fellow X Factor alum Fleur East wrote: “Woo! Congratulations mama”, while Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse commented two red-heart emojis.

Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton added: “Huge congratulations lovely xx”.

“HUGE congratulations,” shared Gaby Roslin alongside several love-heart emojis.

Burke and Randolph announced they were expecting again in April, nine months after welcoming their first.

To celebrate the news at the time, the star uploaded a series of throwback pregnancy pictures of her posing with AFC Bournemouth goal keeper Randolph, 36.

She captioned the post: “We are so excited to do this all again,” followed by a white heart emoji.

The couple, who went public with their romance in June 2021, have chosen to keep their children out of the public eye and haven’t revealed their names, simply referring to their eldest as their “little grape”.

Back in June, the West End star spoke about the importance of accepting and loving your body throughout pregnancy.

She shared during an appearance on ITV’s Lorraine: “What a woman’s body can go through when you are blessed with carrying a baby is incredible.

“Working out for me is everything, so when I was pregnant, I couldn’t control it. You have to accept your body and love your body and who you are.”
