US fashion designer Alexander Wang has been accused of groping a student on a nightclub dancefloor in the latest claim of sexual misconduct to emerge.

Keaton Bullen, 21, alleges he was invited to a private table at the Fishbowl club in New York by the designer, drinking vodka before they went to dance.

The student at New York’s Parson’s School of Design claims his trousers were suddenly unzipped by Wang, who groped him and allegedly said: “I want to take you home with me”.

“I completely froze”, Mr Bullen told BBC News, describing the alleged incident in August 2019. “I felt weirded out…and removed myself from the situation as fast as possible”.

Mr Bullen, an interior design student at the same school that Wang attended, said he is speaking out now to support others who have accused the famous designer of sexual misconduct.

Paul Tweed, a lawyer for Wang, said they are seeking CCTV from the club in the belief it will“totally disprove this allegation".

Wang, 37, the former creative director of Paris fashion house Balenciaga, has faced a slew of accusations which have emerged since December last year.

Lawyer Lisa Bloom is representing 11 men who have accused the designer, while Wang has issued robust denials of wrongdoing.

“Seeing these lies about me being perpetuated as truths has been infuriating”, he said in January.

“I have never engaged in the atrocious behaviour described and would never conduct myself in the manner that’s been alleged.

“I intend to get to the bottom of this and hold accountable whoever is responsible for originating these claims and viciously spreading them online.”

One of the first accusations came from British model Owen Mooney, 26, who said in a viral TikTok video he had been “touched” at a New York nightclub concert.

"I was by myself at one point and this guy next to me obviously took advantage of the fact that no one could move”, he said.

"It made me freeze completely because I was in so much shock."

A string of claims from male and trans models followed on Instagram, which Wang called "baseless and grotesquely false".
