Despite his protestations that he wasn’t responsible, Guardian editor-in-chief Alan Rusbridger got a thick ear on Twitter this weekend over the Julie Burchill article in the Observer on transsexuals.
Daily Telegraph editor Tony Gallagher must be made of sterner stuff. After the Observer took the piece offline, Toby Young reprinted his old friend Burchill’s article in full on his Telegraph blog.
