A comedian has shot to internet fame after sharing her brilliant parodies of celebrity Instagram photographs.

Celeste Barber is quickly gathering a huge online following for her innovative reinterpretations of A-listers often cringeworthy pictures.

The Australian comedian has already taken a playful swipe at a host of big names - including model Miranda Kerr, reality star Kim Kardashian, actor Adrien Brody and singer Nicki Minaj,

In one photograph, she is seen posing with a plate of chicken nuggets and chips as she mocks Kerr for apparently pretending to indulge herself with fast food.

Ridiculing suggestions that the Victoria Secret model regularly tucks into unhealthy snacks, Barber wrote next to the image: "I love pretending to eat what I want so my fans can feel even worse about themselves."

In another hilarious celebrity parody, Barber lies uncomfortably against a rock, wearing just her underwear, a pair of fishnet tights and heeled boots as she imitates Kim Kardashian.

She captioned the picture: "Don't you hate it when you fall over on a dirt pile and your husband demands a photo shoot? I do."

Barber has also mocked original US teen stars Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber, as well as singer Rihanna and actress Demi Moore.

Her posts, which she has been sharing for the last two months using the hashtag #celestechallengeaccepted, have earned her the accolade of "Austrlian comedy queen".
