Wall Game puts Harry on crutches

Wayne Veysey12 April 2012

Prince Harry has again injured his right ankle while playing the Eton Wall Game.

The 17-year-old is back on crutches after inflaming an old injury and was seen wincing with pain as he hobbled around with his father Prince Charles's walking stick at the weekend.

He originally damaged the ankle last November.

The game, a baffling mix of football and rugby, is said to have been the inspiration for Harry Potter's Quidditch. In the stories and hit film, wizards play a similar game on broomsticks.

A St James's Palace spokesman confir med: "Prince Harry aggravated the injury from last November during a session of the Wall Game on Sunday."

Harry's classes are not affected. He has three more days at Eton before the summer holidays start on Friday.
