Galloway says Labour has 'twisted facts'

Rebel Labour MP George Galloway today accused party chiefs of waging a "twisted" fight to expel him.

He was facing a second day before Labour's National Constitutional Committee over charges he urged British troops not to fight in Iraq and backed anti-war candidates against Labour in local polls.

During the first day, he claimed: "Every fact that could be twisted, every motive that could be distorted or invented, every twist of words that could be perpetrated was tried."
