We’re all familiar with high tea, but it would seem high coffee is now a thing.

Earlier this year, the London Park Lane hotel launched its very own coffee experience, called High Coffee.

Similarly to its tea counterpart, the caffeine concept matches sweet and savoury treats with specially selected complementary coffees.

Guests can expect pairings including an espresso martini coupled with an assortment of open sandwiches, with flavours to suit the cocktails.

There are also savoury bites with iced coffee as well as traditional scones and desserts matched with their corresponding coffees.

Alvaro Rey, the General Manager of InterContinental London Park lane said: “With High Coffee, we have created an intriguing and innovative counterpart for the much cherished High Tea, and with nothing else quite like this on the market, we are very excited to be able to offer such an indulgent experience for coffee lovers.”

This coffee tasting experience is a first for the capital.
