Robbie Williams was reportedly forced to comfort wife Ayda Field after she reportedly broke down during filming.

Field was supposedly left in tatters after she was faced with the prospect of having to send home some of her category, according to The Sun.

Producers reportedly had to take a long break and stop filming in a bid to console the 39-year-old, with Williams even making an attempt to help calm her down.

A source told the publication: “She completely broke down when she had to say no to her contestants.

“At one point she was crying really badly and they had to stop filming. Robbie went in to console her and was hugging her and trying to calm her down.

“All the show’s execs were trying to help but she was a mess, it really hit her hard.”

Thrilled by the arrival of his baby girl, Williams told how Coco is the “most chilled” baby he has ever known.

The Angels singer told The Sun: “It’s funny. The first baby you have, ‘Shh, it’s sleeping,’ then you hear someone coming in that closes the door and you run downstairs and you go, ‘Shh! The baby!’

“Then the third one, the televisions on, the kids are playing, the dogs are barking, the baby stays asleep and the world doesn’t end.

“I wonder if the baby is so relaxed because we are relaxed.”

Williams, also shares five-year-old daughter Teddy and three-year-old son Charlie with his other half.
