London Film Festival Pick of the Day: Easy Money II

Swedish crime thriller about JW, a promising business student who falls into coke dealing and tries to get back on the straight and narrow
16 October 2012

In the cinema, ‘European’ doesn’t have to mean ‘arthouse’ and TV doesn’t have the monopoly on Scandinavian noir. Easy Money II has everything you could want in a crime thriller: likeable losers, clever plotting, bursts of violence and a really nasty baddie in the shape of a Serbian crime lord called Radovan.

*Screening Vue 5 at 21:00. Also screening Thu 18, 15:00, Vue 5

The 56th BFI London Film Festival in partnership with American Express runs until October 21 at various venues (bfi.org.uk)
